Jeremy’s perfect two-car garage

From flat-sixes to everyday fun — why the GT4 RS is staying put.

If you spend five minutes talking to Jeremy, one thing becomes clear. He’s in it for the drive. Not the attention, not the spec sheets, just the feeling of being behind the wheel of something that does what it was built to do.

His garage reflects that mindset. At its heart is a car he swears he’ll never sell: the Porsche Cayman GT4 RS.

“It’s the best car I’ve ever owned,” says Jeremy, without hesitation.
“It’s sharp, alive and mechanical. It gives you everything. The sound, the balance, the feedback. It makes you feel like you’re part of the car.”

He’s had plenty of great machines in the past. A 718 GTS 4.0, a 718 GT4, even a short but memorable stint with a Yaris GR and a V8 Vantage F1 Edition. But the GT4 RS is different.

“There’s something about this car that just clicks. It’s not the fastest car I’ve driven (it’s by no means slow), but it’s the most complete. Every drive feels like a proper occasion. Even slow speeds feel engaging. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.”

While the GT4 RS covers his weekend needs, b-road blasts, trackdays and road trips, Jeremy’s daily driver is a Macan GTS. A very different car, but chosen with the same care.

“The Macan is the perfect balance,” he says.
“It’s got just the right amount of fun for a school run or commute, but it doesn’t feel bloated like a Cayenne. It’s agile, quick enough and still has that Porsche feel. You can throw it into a roundabout and actually enjoy it.”

For Jeremy, cars are meant to be used. Driven hard when the road calls for it. Cruised when needed. Always appreciated. He doesn’t collect for the sake of it. Every car in his life earns its place.

“I’ve never been interested in just collecting badges or building some kind of Instagram garage. I want to drive the cars I own. That’s the point of it all.”

It’s that mindset that drove him to co-found Drive Republic. A belief that the real joy isn’t just in owning the machine, but in creating a space where others can share that same sense of movement, connection and purpose.
