Scramble Jan ’26 – Bicester Motion
Location
Bicester Motion
About this event:
The Highlands move at their own pace. Long open stretches that rise and fall through mist and mountain. Forest lines that close in then break to sudden light. Coast roads that sit just above the water, calm and blue on a good day, wild on a better one.
We start in Lancaster and ease north, taking the scenic route into Scotland. Three days of driving, not posing. Just you, the car and a run of roads that feel made for the moment. Open routes, tight hairpins, quiet B-roads through the trees, miles that roll out in front of you and ask to be driven.
The camera comes out often. The scenery leaves you no choice.
Every mile of the route is chosen for flow, rhythm and atmosphere. Nothing wasted. Nothing added for show. Just a pure driving adventure across some of the most striking landscapes in the country.
If you live for the road, this is three days that stay with you.

Drive Republic road trip experience is a navigational road trip, it is not a race, time trial or guided tour. You are given a destination for each day, with a suggested route and are expected to find your own way there with your own map, route guidance, Google maps and/or advice from a local.
Scotland’s roads don’t just take you somewhere, they take hold of you.
Fast, flowing stretches that open out towards the horizon. Tight, technical climbs that demand rhythm and feel. Every mile tells a story — from the A82 that snakes through Glencoe to the quiet B-roads where it’s just you, the car and the landscape.
Each day is curated for pure driving pleasure, with rest stops, refuelling points and scenic breaks woven in.

Each stop along the route offers something different — a lakeside view, a whisky bar, a fireside to share stories.
All 4* quality, chosen for character over gloss. Expect warm welcomes, secure parking and breakfast worth getting up for.
After a day on the road, you’ll unwind in comfort. No crowds, no fuss. Just good company and great conversation.
